Sin duda creo que la música de los 50's fue el catalizador para escuchar la música que hoy tenemos, claro que mucho antes estaba el Jazz, Blues, Louis Armstrong u otra música que se le pueda considerar atemporal. En esa época, surgió el Rock 'n' Roll, uno años antes el R&B, Country y Folk, aunque este ultimo siempre estuvo acompañado de la música tradicional. Veo que muchas personas ni saben de la existencia de esta música; bueno supongo que los tiempos cambian, las nuevas generaciones empiezan a nacer, y yo me considero un 'gato' más que le gusta escuchar la música de antes y de ahora.
Un genero ya casi enterrado en el olvidado en los años 50's fue el 'Doo-wop', por mi parte fue una gran contribución a la música popular ya que sentó las bases para muchas innovaciones musicales.
Una recopilación de más de 100 canciones. Ahora que veo la lista mas detenidamente hay música de los 20' 30' 40' incluso hay una canción de 1902 ("The Entertainer" by Scott Joplin):-) música es música. No necesariamente es de los 50 pero la gran mayoría de pistas si.
Si descubro mas canciones de estos años de todas manera voy a estar agregándolas en la lista.
